For cameras, this solution works best if you normally use your camera with a tripod or some type of mount. The adapter will protrude from nearly all cameras and will make holding the camera for snapshots less natural.
Electrically, this adapter is a direct replacement for any smartmedia card 8,16,32,64 and 128MB capacity. It is NOT the same size physically therefore it is not a direct replacement in all devices from a practical standpoint. I have experience using the adapter in several types of devices including keyboards and cameras. If you have a question about using the adapter, Ill be happy to provide support to the extent of my own experience.
